Lent is a time for us to look in the mirror and take an honest look at those areas in our life where we have turned away from God. When we do that we actually receive a bit of a surprise. We discover that Jesus is already at those places, beckoning us, and desiring to show us a different way. Be not afraid. The Lord is always near.
