We have several conferences of varying sizes each year at St. John's. These have included several Acts 29 parish renewal conferences designed to help conference attendees to grow and mature in their faith. We have also hosted the Bishop's Renewal Conference. This ministry provides essential support and logistics, thanks to numerous volunteers.

The St. John's Conferences Ministry is responsible for providing all of the services required to host conferences and some events for the church. This includes many tasks such as finding housing and transportation for guest speakers, coordinating with the music leader, registration, setting up the conference areas, planning and providing lunches and dinners, providing a hospitality table and setting up child care.

The goal of the Conferences Ministry is to provide the necessary services so that the conference leaders will be able to focus on their spiritual goals for those attending; and, of course, we hope that our services will help make the conferences enjoyable. This ministry offers a great opportunity to work with others and to have fun at the same time in addition to helping further spiritual education and fellowship.
