Cursillo is an international organization that provides a short course in Christianity in a long weekend retreat setting for all who are interested. The weekend is often the beginning of a life-long connection to others who desire to bring the Good News of Christ to their own environments. About 1/3 of the members of the Parish have attended a Cursillo weekend. Those Parish members who have attended a Cursillo weekend are sometimes asked to help sponsor a person on a 3-day spiritual weekend where they can have a deeper connection with God's healing and loving power. These sponsors also stay connected with the candidates and others who have attended to help maintain accountability in their daily spiritual lives.
