Daughters Of The King, Esther Chapter
Sally Chambers, President
The Daughters of the King (DOK), founded in 1885, is an Order for women of the Episcopal Church who are willing to commit themselves to a community of prayer. Members undertake a Rule of Life that incorporates prayer, service and evangelism dedicated to the spread of Christ's Kingdom and strengthening the spiritual life of the parish.

Our St. John's Esther Chapter was formed in November 1999 with its primary service, designated by the Rector, as constant fervent prayer for the work and vision of our church.
We attend to this request in our daily vow of prayer for the clergy and their families, all women and girls in our parish, and all lay ministries. We work to serve our King in prayer both for our parish and our Order worldwide.

Each year we choose a study that enriches our lives and further equips us to lead a life of prayer, service and evangelism.
Precious moments come from the richness of shared insights and prayer as we come together before our King at our monthly meetings. Currently our meetings are held at 12 noon on the first Sunday of each month. They are open to all women.
Membership admission is preceded by a required 12-lesson study presently offered annually.
Please call or e-mail the church office for more information.
