Healing & Prayer Ministry

Healing Ministry provides opportunities for healing prayer. We follow the Biblical practice of anointing with oil and laying on of hands with prayer for healing after each Eucharist. This ministry also encourages teachings and workshops on healing.

St. John’s parish is firmly committed to the promise of physical, emotional, and spiritual healing in the name of Jesus. The members of the Healing Team are available on a rotating schedule for prayers after Eucharist on Sundays. We also offer healing masses several times a year and have an intercessory prayer chain available at all times.

The Daughters of the King, Esther Chapter, are actively involved in the after-service prayer ministry.

Inner healing prayer counseling for emotional wounds and hospital visitation are also part of the ministry.

Several of our members are active in the Diocesan Order of St. Luke, an International Order that supports healing prayer. Anyone interested in being part of our healing ministry is always welcome.
