Music Ministry

The primary purposes of St. John’s music ministries are to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ and to provide spiritual nurture for the congregation.  Music at the 8:00 service is more traditional with hymns from the Episcopal Hymnal, preludes, offertories, and postludes played by our organist Todd Troutman and communion or offertory music played in a gospel style on piano by Donna Reynolds.  The 11:00 service provides a blended worship experience, with a combination of traditional hymns on organ, and more contemporary music led by the Praise Music Team.  The Praise Music Team and organist alternate playing preludes, offertory anthems and postludes.
