Neighborhood Wellness Foundation

As an outgrowth of its Sacred Ground work, St. John's has begun supporting the efforts of the Neighborhood Wellness Foundation, a non-profit organization whose mission is to disrupt intergenerational poverty and trauma in Del Paso Heights (DPH) and surrounding neighborhoods.  As part of our collaboration with NWF we have assisted in the development of a "Take Space" modular unit at Grant High School designed to provide a safe place where at-risk students can come and hang out, receive counseling, participate in healing circles, get help with homework, and pick up needed items from the pantry.  St. John's provides the items for the pantry, supplies for teachers and students, and is exploring other ways in which we may assist the NWF in fulfilling its mission.  For more information, please contact Fr. Cliff or Diane Williamson.
