St. John's Episcopal Church, Roseville

Outreach Committee

The Outreach Committee is charged with extending God's love, compassion, and justice beyond the Church and into our neighborhood, our community, and our world.  We are grateful for God's guidance and blessing on these projects:

Episcopal Relief and Development - St. John's contributes through individual gifts from parishioners and church-wide giving throughout the year.  ERD provides relief in times of disaster and promotes sustainable development by identifying and addressing the root causes of suffering.

St. Vincent de Paul's Kitchen - where we cook and serve lunch once a month.  We also maintain the food cart in the narthex for ongoing food donations.

The Gathering Inn - hosts homeless men, women and families in our community.  Several times a month we provide a beautiful setting and delicious dinner with a safe, welcoming place to sleep for 60+ people.

Helping Hands for Haiti - through donations from parishioners, we help pay for the teacher's salary and the children's lunches in our partnership with St. Jacques School and Church in Terre Cassee, Haiti.
