Parish Camp
Leo and Kathy Des Rosier, Coordinators
Family Camp is held each year in July (July 6-12, 2008) with signups beginning in May 2008. Plan to join us this summer for a week, a few days or even just one day in the beautiful Sierra Mountains at Donner Mine Camp off Highway 20 in Bear Valley. There are a variety of accommodations: lodge, tents, and RV's. It's a great way to spend a vacation for campers of all ages--with or without children. All are welcome.

All meals are planned ahead of time and prepared and eaten together in the lodge. Everyone, young and old, helps through cooking and cleaning up several times during the week. This allows for more time for relaxing, fellowship and getting acquainted. We have daily Bible study for adults, teens and kids, worship and singing, fishing, swimming, napping, crafts, games, campfires, and lots of free time. There are special events all through the week with a mid-week prayer and praise service, a talent show, and ice cream socials, and a free day on Wednesday to explore on your own.

Youth at family camp
Parish Camp is open to all members of St. John's, their friends and extended families. We seek to experience Christian community in the love of Jesus and in the beauty of God's creation.
Parish Camp committee members are available to answer any questions you may have. You may call the church office or contact Leo and Kathy Des Rosier.
