Serving
Many of our St. John’s parishioners are actively involved in service directly related to our church services such as serving as Lay Ministers and Acolytes, serving on the Altar Guild or Flower Ministry, being Greeters on the Welcome Team or serving as Ushers. Other parishioners provide quality child care during our family service, while our Hospitality Team will welcome you for coffee and conversation after each service.

Our Healing and Prayer Ministry members will pray for and with you, for you, your family and loved ones. During difficult times, the Encouragement Team and Funeral Ministry work to help St. John’s families and individuals during illnesses, emergencies and bereavement. Our Clergy are committed to helping you through these difficult times through pastoral care and counseling, in addition to working with you during happier times, such as weddings, baptisms and house blessings.

If you are curious about any of these ministries or feel called to serve in any of these ways, you can read more about each of our lay ministries on our website or call our Lay Ministries Coordinator, April Dobbs, at 786-6911.
