St John’s Sunday School shares the mission of St. John’s Church.  We want our children to experience and share the transforming

love of Jesus.  In sharing this mission our number one priority is that the children are safe and they know they are loved.  Each Sunday we share stories from the Bible that tell of God’s love.  In telling of God’s love we use The Children’s Bible, materials from Godly Play and other resources to enhance the stories . We provide a variety of experiences in which the children may participate. The experiences might include but are not limited to singing, crafts, role-playing and games.  One of the favorite activities is a chance to use manipulative materials from Godly Play to retell the current story as well as to tell stories from past Sundays.

Sunday School starts at 11:00.  We bring the children into the church to join their families as communion is about to begin, usually around 11:50/ 12:00.

Our little ones are a treasure that we handle with love and care.
