Rick and April Dobbs, Uganda Missionaries

Our mission to Uganda began with a Diocesan “Companion Diocese/Sister Parish” program almost 10 years ago. St. John’s, Roseville, was assigned St. John’s, Bugongi (Uganda) as a sister parish. The current relationship was nurtured by our respective clergy, resulting in a visit from Rev. David Rurihoona from St. John’s, Bugongi in January 2006. A return visit, from Roseville to Uganda, was made in August 2006 by Rick and April Dobbs who have gone two more times and are now in the process of building an orphanage in Kabale Town (near Bugongi).
