Women's Ministry

The Women of St. John's hold an annual retreat at Mercy Center in Auburn. The retreat is open to all women - you need not be a member of St. John's. The retreat features meditations by the presenter, small group discussions, worship (with our fantastic Praise Team), fellowship, free time, crafts, and time to walk the beautiful grounds with Stations of the Cross and a Labyrinth. The retreat is a wonderful experience of friendship, fun, and community.

During the summer, the women hold Ice Cream Socials; and in December they hold a beautifully decorated Bake Sale, both as fundraisers for the retreat.

It is a policy of Women's Ministries that all funds raised are tithed (20%) to community groups. Recent groups helped were Roseville Salvation Army, Placer Food Bank, and Stand Up Placer.
