Young Families

The Young Families Ministry is in place to encourage the active participation of families with young children at St. John’s. We understand that for a church to grow into a thriving community, we need participation from members of all walks of life. We have done several activities in the past to encourage participation from families with children and we have some upcoming activities also. In the past, we have had an annual Easter Egg Hunt, a trip to Apple Hill, 10 Great Dates, Meals: St. John’s Way (making freezer meals together at St. John’s), Movie Night and a Parenting class. Some of the activities planned for the future include: the Annual Easter Egg Hunt, another Movie night, a possible potluck, game nights and another Meals: St. John’s Way. We also would like to have another 10 Great Dates, and to offer another Parenting class.

We encourage and invite you to consider joining the Young Families Ministry. You and your children will have a lot of fun and be encouraged that Christ is in the center of the friendships that develop in this ministry.
