Sacred Ground Dialogue

The Sacred Ground program is part of Becoming Beloved Community, which is the National Episcopal Church's long-term commitment to racial healing, reconciliation, and justice in our personal lives and society.

Sacred Ground is a film and readings based dialogue series on race, grounded in faith.  Small groups (6-14 persons) come together bi-weekly (via Zoom) and walk through chapters of America's history of race and racism, while weaving in threads of family story, economic class, and political and regional identity.  Please pray and consider joining the next set of circles.  See Fr Cliff for more information.

This September 2025 pilgrimage to Tule Lake Concentration Camp was planned by four Sacred Ground graduates—two from St. John’s, Roseville, and two from St. Martin’s, Davis. This camp is located in the northern part of our diocese where thousands of Japanese Americans were unjustly imprisoned during World War II.
